Simply Poussin is Alex Aitken’s original Brockenhurst restaurant – with a consistent reputation for cuisine of the very highest standard, served in relaxed, informal surroundings - this year will see a further development of this with the relocating of ‘Simply’ to the Whitley Ridge Hotel, just outside Brockenhurst.

After 25 years Simply Poussin’s looks have certainly changed, but the passion for fine food remains the same. At the heart of the ‘Simply” ethos, is the desire to serve the very best food at very ordinary prices in an atmosphere which has been described as, “ simply more unbuttoned”. The menus reflect the seasons and incorporate the freshest produce, locally sourced wherever possible.

Classic dishes are imaginatively interpreted and elegantly presented, long-standing favourite soufflés continue to add the lightest of touches to the daily and a la carte menus.
